History
The Ve Století restaurant and guest house occupies premises converted from the former Moravec farmhouse in Loděnice, in the lower part of the Hus Square. Historic information suggests that the Moravec farmhouse was built in the first half of the 19th century and served its purpose until as late as the second half of the 20th century.
Renovation
In November 1999, overall renovation of the buildings was launched; its aim was to build an upmarket restaurant and accommodation facility preserving the period architecture, the character of a former farmhouse and the genius loci. The front building, originally a residential house, was converted into a restaurant and a grill lounge was set up in the former grange. Technological facilities have been put into the former stables and a guest house with nine rooms was situated on the first floor.
